On April 24, a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the “Regional Development Agency” Institution was held, at which Orest Filts was appointed the director of the Agency based on the results of the competitive selection.
The competition was held in two stages: the first – selection of documents submitted by candidates for compliance with established requirements, and the second – an interview with the selected candidates.
The meeting of the competition committee for the competition for the position of the director of the Agency took place in the mode of live online video broadcasting.
From April 2021, Orest Filts is the head of the investment policy department of the economic policy department of the Lviv Regional Government. He has experience in managing investment and grant projects, cooperation with local executive bodies, local self-government bodies, regional business representatives, public opinion leaders, interaction with foreign funds and other donor organizations, etc.
We would like to remind you that the decision to create the Institution “Regional Development Agency of Lviv Region” was made on March 13, 2023 at the Constituent Meeting of the Founders.
The founders of the Agency are the Lviv Regional Military Administration and the Lviv Regional Council.
The purpose of the Agency’s activity is the effective implementation of state regional policy in the region, promotion, in particular, of socio-economic and cultural development of the region, attraction of investments, export of products by enterprises, development of entrepreneurship in the region.
