In Drohobych, 1 million UAH was compensated for discounted transportation by automobile in September.
To implement the city program of compensatory payments for discounted transportation, approved by the decision of the Drohobych City Council, the social protection management compensated this amount. This concerns transporters who provide transportation for certain categories of citizens, including combatants, people with disabilities, and others.
“The compensation covers 60,978 discounted rides on public bus routes,” the statement reads. The list of persons eligible for free transportation includes: combatants, war-disabled persons and their accompanying persons, liquidators of the Chornobyl disaster consequences, and other categories.
