Based on the results of the first half of 2026, the Horodok territorial community ranked among the leaders in the Lviv region in terms of local budget expenditure related to repelling the armed aggression of the russian federation. According to aggregated data, the community took fourth place among the region’s 73 territorial communities.
During this period, the Horodok TC allocated 40.4 million UAH for defence purposes. These are local budget funds used to support the Defence Forces and other measures related to martial law.
Among communities in the Lviv region, the top positions by the amount of such expenditure are held by: the Lviv territorial community – 773.5 million UAH, the Sokilnyky TC – 78.2 million UAH, the Stryi TC – 75.2 million UAH. They are followed in the ranking by the Horodok TC – 40.4 million UAH, the Slavske TC – 36.5 million UAH, the Morshyn TC – 29.9 million UAH, the Zymna Voda TC – 29.6 million UAH, the Radekhiv TC – 28.8 million UAH, the Sheptytskyi TC – 25.5 million UAH, the Yavoriv TC – 24.4 million UAH.
In addition to the absolute amounts, the Horodok community is also in the top ten territorial communities of the region by the share of the budget directed to defence expenditure. Support for defence here accounts for 16.1% of all budget spending in the first half of 2026.
