The Women’s Chamber of Commerce in Lviv Oblast celebrates its fifth anniversary since its establishment

As of today, it has more than 2,500 members from all regions of Ukraine.

August 25 marks 5 years since the creation of the Women’s Business Chamber. This is the first all-Ukrainian community of business representatives of the country. The key tasks are to promote the development of women’s economic opportunities, develop women’s entrepreneurship and career, and ensure the protection of women’s labor rights.

As of August 2023, it has more than 2,500 members from all regions of Ukraine.

Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, congratulated the members of the Women’s Business Chamber on the anniversary of their establishment.

“It would seem that 5 years is not much, but how much the Women’s Business Chamber managed to achieve during this time. Thank you for your leadership, especially in wartime, because it is leadership that determines the movement to achieve successful results. Thank you for your contribution to building a new Ukrainian state with a new economic vision,” said the head of the Lviv Oblast.

Today, the Women’s Business Chamber of Ukraine is the largest organization for the development of women’s entrepreneurship. It has 27 sectoral Committees.

“We actively support women entrepreneurs. In particular, during the full-scale war, the Committee on Issues of Relocated Women’s Businesses was created, an Agri-business school was held for women farmers, and 87 training sessions were held on new business rules, which included issues of internationalization of activities, search for new sales markets, and marketing policy , fundraising, they were visited by more than 2,500 women. Thanks to active interaction with international partners, we provided large-scale assistance to displaced persons, especially in the first days of the great war. We teach women to attract funds from international donors and partners,” noted the president of the Women’s Business Chamber of Ukraine Nataliya Karpenchuk-Konopatska.

After that, a conference was held, dedicated to the social responsibility of wartime – the interaction of business, government, church, public sector, education and medicine.

By the way, the Women’s Business Chamber of Ukraine is the official ambassador of “Diya.Business” in Ukraine and the program of the Ministry of Social Policy “is Help”.
