At all levels of state and local government, Ukraine is working to save as many people as possible from flooded areas. Evacuation continues. Emergency services, the police, and the military work wherever people can be pulled out of the flood zone.
“On our free territory there is a presence of international organizations, concrete assistance. In particular, it is the Ukrainian Red Cross and many others. I am grateful to every organization, every volunteer, every company that actually joined the rescue operation.
And it is obvious that the absence of some international organizations in the disaster zone right now in the occupied territory – the same International Red Cross – the lack of their help to our people in the occupied territory for such organizations, it seems to me that this is wrong and is simply self-destruction,” he emphasized Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
Russian terrorists are trying to worsen the situation they caused with their ecocide. They continue to shell Kherson and the communities of the region, already flooded by terrorists. They even fire at evacuation points, which is already such a manifestation of evil that, apparently, no terrorists in the world, except Russian ones, have attempted.
The occupiers completely abandoned the people on the left bank of the Kherson region. There, for the second day, the catastrophe is only expanding. And this is also a completely conscious choice of the Russian leadership.
“Now there are no people in the world who would not see that Russia is ruled by non-humans. Inhumans, who are personally the biggest disaster on the planet today. Together with our partners, we must do everything so that the world can prove that it can deal with such disasters and such terrorists.
The situation with drinking water in our cities and communities. Leaders in the field and in the government understand the order of steps. There are solutions, there are resources, there is money.
