There were no air alert notifications in the Lviv region during the past day. This was announced by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi.
“A day passed in the region without air alarms. We thank our defenders on all fronts for this,” said the head of the Lviv Oblast.
He also informed that today, December 12, the limits established by the power system controller for the Lviv region cover about 55% of the needs of our region, and as of this morning, Lvivoblenergo applies one group of hourly outages.
“If the load on the power system increases, two groups will have to be involved at once. In addition, due to icing and broken wires, icing of trees and their falling on power lines in the Lviv region, 25 settlements were completely de-energized, and 57 more were partially de-energized. Most of them are in Lviv and Yavoriv districts. 67 brigades and more than 100 pieces of equipment were involved in order to restore the electricity supply. Yesterday, after emergency shutdowns, power supply was restored in 62 settlements,” Maksym Kozytskyi clarified.
Oblenergo reminds you how to behave near the places where the wire of the power line is broken:
▪️ Do not approach this place closer than eight meters, because in this case you can get a fatal electric shock.
▪️ Move away from the dangerous zone with a “goose step” – bring your feet together, do not separate them from each other and from the ground, and move with small sliding steps.
