Lviv region has become one of the leaders in the field of gas production, extracting over a billion cubic meters of gas, which exceeds its consumption.
This was reported by the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi. The region has 83 deposits, 72 of which are actively being developed. This was discussed at the 12th International Oil and Gas Conference, which brought together about 270 industry leaders from across Ukraine.
\”We have much to share, and we are also ready to adopt the best experiences from other regions. Many new technologies are emerging on the market. It is important for us to learn about them and apply them to increase the quality and quantity of oil and gas production. Only in this way will we achieve true energy independence for Ukraine,\” stated the head of the region.
The event became a platform for dialogue between representatives of business, education, and science. Discussions covered not only technical innovations but also historical experiences, current challenges, and strategic development of the industry during wartime. Lviv region continues to invest in its energy potential to be a reliable support for the state and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
