The Lviv region is one of the leaders in the number of youth centers in Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, as of October 2025, there are 643 youth centers and spaces operating in Ukraine. Of these, 114 are youth centers, and 529 are youth spaces actively working with young people locally.
The Lviv region traditionally holds a leading position, having 53 youth centers and spaces. Notably, 29 of these are communal, accounting for about one-fifth of all communal youth centers in Ukraine.
“We are proud that the Lviv region remains one of the regions where youth policy is developing systematically. This is the result of joint efforts by the authorities, communities, and the young people themselves, who create vibrant, active spaces for development in their communities”, said the Department of Sports, Youth, and Tourism of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
Over 120 youth centers and spaces operate in Western Ukraine overall, and Lviv sets the tone in building youth infrastructure, opening new opportunities for learning, self-development, and youth engagement.
