In the first quarter, Lviv Region collected 10.9 billion UAH in taxes and payments to the general fund of local budgets, allowing it to exceed planned targets by 678 million UAH or 6.6 percent. The regional budget mobilised 1.7 billion UAH, which is 1.7 percent or 28 million UAH more than planned and 21.2 percent more than the corresponding period last year.
According to the finance department of the Lviv Regional State Administration, compared to January-March of last year, revenues to the regional budget increased by 1.9 billion UAH or 21.2 percent. The overachievement of planned indicators was achieved across all major taxes and payments.
The special fund of the regional budget received 705 million UAH in taxes and payments, matching last year’s receipts for the corresponding period. In January-March, taxpayers in Lviv Region contributed 42.4 billion UAH to the state budget, which is 5.5 billion UAH or 15 percent more compared to the corresponding period last year.
