Lviv region will cooperate with Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship of the Republic of Poland

Today, the head of the Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi together with his deputies held an online meeting with the voivode of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian voivodeship Mykola Bohdanovich.

The head of the region thanked in the person of the voivode all the Polish people for their help to Ukrainians during the war.

“You, as a state, have stood side by side with us. You helped Ukraine when everyone else was scared. Thank you that Poland has hosted millions of Ukrainians. For tens of thousands of tons of aid received by Lviv region. We believe that with such friends we will overcome our common enemy. There are no industries where Poles would not help us. Weapons – one of the first, food, basic necessities, the organization of movement at the border. Thanks to the Polish government, the first town for IDPs was built in the Lviv region, “the head of the region stressed.

He added that a few days ago Lviv region received about 100 pallets of medicines and beds from Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, which were distributed between Poltava, Zakarpattia, Kharkiv and Lviv regions. In the Lviv region, this assistance was transferred to one of the medical institutions.

The voivode of Kuyavian-Pomeranian voivodeship noted that 40,000 registered Ukrainians live in the voivodeship and receive assistance. About 10,000 people were legally employed.

“We are constantly monitoring the events in Ukraine. In the future, we want to jointly discuss projects in the agricultural sector, cooperation between businesses and economic development, “said Voivode Mykola Bohdanovich.

The Deputy Marshal of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship noted that now it is important to talk about the reconstruction of Ukraine, and Poland is ready to invest in the development of the Ukrainian state.

During the conversation, Maksym Kozytsky invited the Voivode of Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship with a delegation of businessmen to visit Lviv Region and sign a joint agreement for further cooperation. At the same time, Polish colleagues invited Ukrainian officials to visit the voivodship.
