Lviv Region Ranks Third in Ukraine for Local Budget Revenues

Lviv Region continues to hold the third place in Ukraine in terms of local budget revenues.

After the city of Kyiv with UAH 58.7 billion and Dnipropetrovsk Region with UAH 32.6 billion, Lviv Region remains third with UAH 22.7 billion in tax revenues to the general fund of local budgets as of January – July 2025. This was reported by the finance department of the Lviv Regional State Administration.

“In terms of revenues to the special fund of the budgets, we are second, trailing only behind the capital. As of August 1, Lviv Region holds leading positions in the country in terms of revenues from all major taxes and payments to local budgets. In terms of revenues from the sale of fixed capital and land, we are first among all regions of Ukraine, in terms of revenues from property and entrepreneurial activity, administrative fees and payments – second, and in terms of personal income tax, unified tax, corporate income tax – third.

Regarding the growth dynamics of revenues, Lviv Region surpasses the national average every month. Particularly high growth rates have been recorded in land fees and personal income tax,” the relevant department reported.
