Lviv Region has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the federal state of Lower Austria, one of Europe’s most successful regions with developed industry and energy sectors. This partnership is a significant testament to the trust in our region and paves the way for new business and investment opportunities.
The partners agreed to collaborate in areas such as energy, medicine, education, infrastructure, and reconstruction. This includes:
- new investments;
- support for enterprises and job creation;
- joint projects in the field of renewable energy;
- exchange of experience between universities and hospitals;
- inclusion of Austrian expertise in infrastructure recovery.
This step will allow Lviv Region to strengthen its economic and logistical role on the route between Ukraine and the EU, attracting more international business and technology.
