Lviv region has allocated over 90 million hryvnias for the needs of military formations.
As part of the “Safe Lviv Region” program, funds were allocated to support 26 military formations. They will be used to purchase ground robotic systems, specialized vehicles, night vision devices and scopes, drone detectors, charging stations, and other necessary equipment.
“I thank all the people in the Lviv region who honestly pay taxes. Every hryvnia of yours turns into real support for those who defend our state. I thank the defenders for everything. We are working to ensure that this year’s enhancements for our defenders are no less than in 2025,” emphasized Lviv Regional State Administration Head Maksym Kozytskyy.
Funding was received by the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo, the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Galicia Brigade, the Main Intelligence Directorate, the 704th Radiation, Chemical, Biological Protection Brigade, the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, the Western Regional Radio-Electronic Intelligence Center, the 17th Special Purpose Center of the Military Law Enforcement Service (Lviv), the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade, the 9th Army Corps, military units A4138 and A5074, the 435th Separate Division of Unmanned Air Defense Systems, the 413th Separate Battalion of Unmanned Systems “Raid”, the 38th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment named after General-Courier Yuriy Tyutunnyk, military unit A5025, the 20th Operational Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine “Lyubart”, the 12th Special Purpose Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine “Azov”, the National Guard Training Center named after Vasyl Vyshyvany, the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine, the Special Purpose Center “Omega” of the National Guard, the National Guard’s United Communication Node, the 223rd Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment named after the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen, the 427th Separate Regiment of Unmanned Systems “RAROG”, the 540th Lviv Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovsky, and the 103rd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade named after Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky. These funds are also used for the capital repair of the premises of the 16th Regional Military-Medical Commission.
