Based on the results of seven months, Lviv region has entered the top ten regions of Ukraine with the highest growth dynamics in budget revenues. This was reported by the Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration Ivan Sobko, citing data from the Ministry of Finance, which analyses eight key revenue indicators.
According to the official, the growth rates of revenues in Lviv region for all types of income exceed the national average. The overall positive revenue dynamic in Lviv region stands at 23%, while the average across Ukraine is 17%. This secured the region sixth place among 25 regions in aggregate terms.
In terms of individual taxes, Lviv region holds strong positions. By the dynamics of corporate income tax revenues, the region ranks third in Ukraine, and fourth for fees for the provision of administrative services. For personal income tax and land fees, the region is in seventh place, for excise tax it is in eighth place, and for the single tax and property tax it ranks tenth.
At the same time, Lviv region retains third place in Ukraine in terms of the volume of revenues to local budgets in absolute terms. Only the city of Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk region show higher amounts.
