
In August, Lviv Customs transferred almost UAH 12 billion in customs payments to the State Budget of Ukraine. These revenues were generated thanks to the work of foreign economic operators who cleared goods through the customs office.
The volume of imports processed by Lviv Customs staff amounted to 321 thousand tonnes of goods worth UAH 88 billion. Export operations totalled 178 thousand tonnes of products with an overall value of UAH 13 billion.
Separately, customs officers cleared as humanitarian aid more than 5.4 thousand tonnes of cargo, as well as 4,865 vehicles that arrived as humanitarian consignments.
In addition, in June customs officers drew up 149 reports on breaches of customs regulations. The total value of the items involved in these offences under the relevant case files amounts to UAH 9.9 million.
