Lviv Customs and the European Business Association continue active cooperation.
The management of Lviv Customs held a working meeting with representatives of the Western Ukrainian Office of the European Business Association. The participants of the meeting discussed current issues regarding the work of foreign trade entities and emphasized that the key to effective interaction between entrepreneurs and customs is consultative support and prompt communication.
The parties also discussed issues concerning the status of the Authorized Economic Operator and other simplifications that minimize customs interference in business activities.
“The main goal of business is scaling and job creation. The task of customs is to ensure comfortable conditions for export-import operations and to expedite customs procedures. Therefore, readiness to adapt to EU standards is a key component for optimizing our cooperation,” highlighted the acting head of Lviv Customs Ivan Kerezvas.
