Among other things, the funds will be used for the purchase of unmanned aerial vehicles and means of radio-electronic warfare.
The Lviv Regional Military Administration allocated UAH 50 million for the needs of military units. This is additional money to those previously provided for.
The corresponding order on the increase of financial resources for the “Safe Lviv region” program was signed by the head of the Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi. It is through this program that military units and the security sector in general are financed.
As reported by the Department of Civil Protection of the Lviv Oblast, about 10 military units will receive funding. Eight of them will be used to purchase unmanned aerial vehicles and electronic warfare equipment.
Taking into account these 50 million, the resource of the program will amount to 386 million.
