On Friday, 16 October, an open discussion will be held in Lviv on new approaches to organising trade and using urban space. Entrepreneurs, representatives of the business community and all interested residents are invited to take part.
The meeting will start at 16:00 at the Mediateka, 2A Muliarska St. Prior registration is required to participate.
According to the Department of Economic Development of the Lviv City Council, the purpose of the event is to establish a systematic dialogue with business, gather proposals and jointly develop solutions that will foster entrepreneurship and shape transparent trading rules within the community.
During the discussion, they plan to consider approaches to holding fairs and the participation of local producers in them, the conditions for placing summer terraces not tied to permanent food establishments, the rules for organising trade in parks and other green areas, as well as the issue of regulating outdoor and mobile trade.
Entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to talk about the difficulties they face in their daily work and to propose their own ideas for improving the current rules. The proposals received during the meeting are promised to be taken into account in the further preparation of the relevant decisions.
The event is organised by the Department of Economic Development of the Lviv City Council together with the NGO “Centre for Economic Growth “LRH””.
