Routes No. 51 and No. 53 in Lviv will continue to be served by the current carrier

A meeting of the competition committee to select road passenger carriers for city bus routes No. 30, 38, 51, 53, 65 and 90 has taken place in Lviv. As a result, a carrier was chosen for only two routes, while the remaining routes will be put out to a repeat tender.

The current carrier, TzOV “Uspikh BM”, submitted documents to serve bus routes No. 51 and No. 53. The committee recognised the company as the winner of the tender, so it will continue to operate services on these routes.

Under the terms of the tender, large-capacity buses will remain in service on routes No. 51 and No. 53. This makes it possible to carry more passengers and to maintain the current service format.

At the same time, no applications were received from carriers for routes No. 30, 38, 65 and 90. The Transport Department of Lviv City Council has announced that it is preparing the procedure for a repeat tender to ensure transport connections on these routes.

There are 55 bus routes operating in the city overall. Every day, more than 500 units of public transport run in service, and over 80% of city buses and electric transport are accessible to passengers with reduced mobility.
