Residents of the Lviv community are invited to familiarise themselves with the first draft of the strategic document “Lviv Water Vision 2100” and submit their comments and suggestions.
This document sets out a long-term vision for managing the community’s water resources. It has been prepared on the basis of European experience, in particular that of the municipality of Aarhus (Denmark), and adapted to the needs and specific features of the Lviv community.
“Lviv Water Vision 2100” covers seven key areas, including stormwater management, protection of surface and groundwater, development of water supply and wastewater systems, spatial planning, as well as water education for residents.
Community participation in the discussion should help refine the document, make it more practical and ensure it responds to the real needs of the Lviv community.
The project is being implemented in cooperation between Lvivvodokanal Municipal Enterprise and the Lviv City Council, with the support of the municipality of Aarhus (Denmark).
