New provisions will enter into force from the moment of official publication.
The order of the Ministry of Environment of Ukraine of 06/27/2023 No. 448, which was registered with the Ministry of Justice on 08/23/2023 under No. 1475/40531, approved a new Instruction on the requirements for the preparation of documents, in which the volumes of emissions of pollutants into the atmospheric air by stationary sources are substantiated.
The order established new requirements for the design and content of the sections of documents in which emissions are substantiated, and canceled the order of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Nuclear Safety of Ukraine dated February 10, 1995 No. 7 “On the approval of the Instruction on the content and procedure for drawing up a report on the inventory of pollutant emissions at the enterprise” and order of the Ministry of Environmental Protection dated 09.03.2006 No. 108 “On the approval of the Instruction on general requirements for the preparation of documents justifying the volumes of emissions, for obtaining a permit for emissions of pollutants into the atmospheric air by stationary sources for enterprises, institutions, organizations and citizen-entrepreneurs”.
As Hanna Bashta, deputy director of the department of ecology and natural resources of the Lviv regional government, noted, from now on it will be easier for business entities to obtain emissions permits, since instead of two documents, only one will need to be developed.
Order No. 448 of the Ministry of Environment of Ukraine dated 27.06.2023 enters into force from the day of its official publication. Currently, the text of the document has not been officially published.
