According to the First Deputy Mayor of Lviv Andriy Moskalenko, in the first quarter of 2022 the revenues of the general fund of the budget were fulfilled by 103%. And for March – by 100.5%. These revenues are intended to finance the medical, educational, social sectors, in general – for the functioning of the city.
“The last month and a half is a stage of a new wave of war. And here we must thank the taxpayers and all those who believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, all those who believe in Ukraine. After all, we actually exceeded the budget.
If we talk about the general fund of the budget – it is the taxes paid by small and medium-sized businesses. These are taxes that were paid from salaries. Many thanks from us to all the people of Lviv. Because today is an example, in such a very difficult time. We have achieved this through their great faith and hard work.
This is important, because these funds are used to support medicine, education, social protection, and the city can function, ”Andriy Moskalenko explained.
