The number of vehicles has increased on city bus route No. 67 “Bryukhovychi — Shpytalna St” in Lviv. To improve passenger service, an additional large bus has been put into operation on the route, so on working days there are now four vehicles running here. This should shorten waiting times at stops and make journeys more comfortable. The changes were announced by the head of the Lviv City Council transport department, Oleh Partyka.
All the buses operating on route No. 67 are low-floor and accessible for people with limited mobility, and are also equipped with air conditioning systems, which is particularly important in the warmer months.
As a reminder, the new city route No. 67 has been in operation since 1 August this year. It connects the centre of Lviv with the settlement of Bryukhovychi and improves public transport services both for the residents of the settlement and for those living in the area of Shevchenka and Bryukhovytska streets in Lviv.
Services on this route are provided by the private carrier TOV “Epitrans”. The route pattern for No. 67 is as follows: Bryukhovychi (Nezalezhnosti Ukrainy St) — Bryukhovytska St — T. Shevchenka St — Zakhysnykiv Ukrainy St — Horodotska St — Shpytalna St — D. Danylyshyna St — then again Horodotska St — T. Shevchenka St — Bryukhovytska St — Bryukhovychi.
The article also reminds readers that, as of now, Lviv has 55 bus routes in operation. Every day, more than 500 public transport vehicles run on the network, and over 80% of city buses are fully accessible for people with disabilities and other passengers with limited mobility.
