It brought together almost 200 interested participants and 20 speakers from all over Ukraine.
Today, April 28, the forum “Business with the soul and business for the soul” started in Lviv region, it will last for two days. Its goal is to unite responsible Ukrainian businesses that function and develop in today’s conditions. So, almost 200 people took part in the event, in particular, owners and managers of hotels and restaurants, investors, developers, designers, architects, financial experts and technologists, other hospitality workers from different cities of Ukraine. The speakers were 20 experts representing leading businesses in the field of hospitality.
“I am glad to see participants here not only from Lviv Oblast, but also from other regions. Our region is one of the leaders in Ukraine in the development of tourism. As of today, we cannot accept a large number of visitors, but we continue to work on the development of the industry and share our experience with everyone who is interested. Our region became the leader in Ukraine in terms of the amount of tourist tax in 2022 – it is more than 41 million hryvnias, 79% more compared to 2021. Thanks to the business for such indicators. Thank you for investing in Ukraine, creating jobs and paying taxes. I would like to wish all representatives of the hospitality industry development. After all, soon we will be demonstrating quality service to the whole world,” Maksym Kozytskyi, the head of the Lviv OVA, said during his welcome speech.
During the forum, speakers will talk in more detail about effective investment models, new products and information technology tools, service and sales, problems of the hotel and restaurant sector and ways to solve them, the main trends of the hotel and restaurant market – today and after the victory.
In addition, a charity auction will be held for the participants, where art objects from the forum’s partners will be presented. As part of the campaign, they plan to raise funds for the creation of a Rehabilitation Center for children affected by the war.
The organizer of the event “Business with the soul and business for the soul” is the VAN GROUP workshop in partnership with the Association of Hotels and Resorts of Ukraine (UHRA).
