In February of this year, 8268 internally displaced persons were accommodated in the private housing sector of Lviv region.
Thus, the Department of Fuel and Energy Complex, Energy Efficiency and Housing and Communal Services of Lviv Regional State Administration submitted an application for funding to compensate for the costs of accommodation (stay) of IDPs in February 2024 in the amount of UAH 3,506,398.
As a reminder, in January 2024, 8,465 internally displaced persons were accommodated in the private housing sector in Lviv region. In January 2024, the total amount of compensation to owners of private housing who accommodated internally displaced persons in these premises free of charge amounted to UAH 3,842,962.
“It is worth noting that homeowners who have hosted internally displaced persons should provide correctly filled in data to local governments in order to receive compensation, as this will reduce the time required to receive the said compensation,” said Bohdan Keivan, Director of the Department of Fuel and Energy Complex, Energy Efficiency and Housing and Communal Services of Lviv Regional State Administration.
