In May, 24,268 internally displaced persons were accommodated in the private housing sector in Lviv Oblast. The department of the fuel and energy complex, energy efficiency and housing and communal services of Lviv Oblast informs.
The total amount of compensation to the owners of residential premises of the private housing stock, who accommodated internally displaced persons in these premises free of charge, for May of this year is UAH 9.7 million.
The Department submitted applications for funding:
– from the reserve fund of the state budget – UAH 2,377,142.88;
– at the expense of international donor organizations (Norwegian Council for Refugees in Ukraine) – UAH 7,289,113.16.
“We ask the owners of housing that have taken in forced migrants to be more responsible when submitting documents to receive compensation. After all, in April, due to incorrectly submitted documents, 413 homeowners did not receive compensation from international donor organizations on time,” the department of fuel and energy complex, energy efficiency and housing and communal services of the Lviv Oblast emphasized.
