In Lviv on 20–21 June, road surface repairs are planned on Chornovola Avenue. The works will be carried out on the stretch from Horodotska Street to Pid Dubom Street in the direction away from the city centre.
The surface will be renewed in large sections over a stretch of more than 700 metres. The main works are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday to reduce inconvenience for drivers. A full closure of the avenue is not planned; however, due to the operation of large-sized machinery, traffic disruptions are possible.
Part of the works will be carried out on the public transport lane. Because of this, the stop located opposite the Lviv Hotel will be temporarily moved approximately 50 metres forward in the direction of travel.
The Halytskyi District Administration notes that residents and drivers are asked to plan their journeys in advance, be attentive in the repair area and treat the temporary restrictions with understanding.
This spring, the Halytskyi District Administration already carried out similar works on the opposite side of Chornovola Avenue. Road surface repairs in large sections on another part of this avenue, from Varshavska Street to Khimichna Street, were also carried out by the Shevchenkivskyi District Administration.
