In the centre of Lviv, at 20 Doroshenka Street, emergency crews from Lvivvodokanal Municipal Utility Company are continuing to repair a concealed water leak in the pipeline. Due to the repair works, the turn from Doroshenka Street onto Kostyushka Street remains closed to private vehicles.
For the duration of the emergency repair, traffic is closed on Kostyushka Street on the section from Doroshenka Street to Sichovykh Striltsiv Street. Drivers are advised to take the temporary restrictions into account when planning their journeys and, where possible, to use alternative routes.
In connection with the works, from 10:00 today the water supply has been suspended to buildings on the following streets: Acad. V. Hnatyuka, Yuriya Drohobycha, T. Kostyushka, L. Kurbasa, Lystopadovoho Chynu, Kavova, S. Nalyvayka, Sichovykh Striltsiv, I. Tyktora, Kryva Lypa passage, Gen. P. Hryhorenka Square, as well as to certain buildings on Horodotska Street and Doroshenka Street.
According to Lvivvodokanal Municipal Utility Company, emergency crews are working on site to repair the damage and restore the water supply as quickly as possible. Provisionally, water supply is expected to be restored after 17:00 today.
