In Lviv, on Trakt Hlynianskyi Street, on the section from Bohdanivska Street to Bihova Street, the laying of the top layer of asphalt concrete surfacing has been completed ahead of schedule and private and public transport traffic has already been restored.
After the street was reopened, bus routes Nos. 18, 23, 29 and 61 returned to their usual route pattern and are once again running via Trakt Hlynianskyi Street.
During the repair works on this section of the road, new kerbs were installed, the tiled pavements were repaired and the carriageway was renewed. Separately, the most problematic section of the water supply pipeline was replaced, the old surfacing was milled off and two layers of asphalt were laid.
“We managed to asphalt Trakt Hlynianskyi Street faster than had been announced. During yesterday, the contractor fully laid the top layer of asphalt, and today completed the necessary technical works. Therefore, from midday traffic for private and public transport on the street has been restored,” said the head of the Lychakiv District Administration, Yurii Lukashevskyi.
Repair works on Trakt Hlynianskyi Street began at the end of May and the main roadworks on the mentioned section have now been completed.
