Today, September 6, an informational meeting on the proper registration of labor relations under martial law was held in Lviv OVA, which was jointly organized by the State Labor Service, the Lviv Regional Military Administration and the Civilian Support Coordination Center under LOVA.
The speaker, head of the Western Interregional Department of the State Labor Service, Oksana Yezerska, introduced the meeting participants to the following topics:
– The concept of “undeclared work” and its consequences;
– Changes in labor legislation during martial law;
– How to arrange employment of a minor employee;
– Criteria for distinguishing between an employment contract and a civil law contract;
– Liability of officials of economic entities and natural persons – entrepreneurs.
We also considered the information campaign of the State Labor Department “Come out into the light!”, the purpose of which is to inform employers and employees about the requirements of the law for the registration of labor relations and tracking violations. This campaign helps create lists of business entities that use undeclared labor for further monitoring and response.
