Thus, according to the notification of the finance department of the Lviv Regional Government, in 2023, 15 territorial communities will implement 20 programs on energy saving, and 39 territorial communities will implement measures within the framework of the implementation of other programs for a total amount of over 160 million hryvnias. This will allow institutions that have planned such measures to save up to 10% of expenses on energy carriers, which is approximately 24 million hryvnias.
“Therefore, we suggest that the communities of Lviv Oblast become more active and consider the possibility of implementing energy-saving measures for the economical use of budget funds, as this is an investment in the future development of the community,” said Director of the Finance Department Oleg Demkiv.
We would like to inform you that the Comprehensive program for increasing energy efficiency, energy saving and development of renewable energy in the Lviv region for 2021-2025 is operating in the region, which provides for the implementation by local self-government bodies of such energy saving measures as reconstruction of heat networks, installation of individual heat points, construction, reconstruction and overhaul of boiler houses with the transition to alternative fuels. For this purpose, the regional budget for 2023 provides 20 million hryvnias. Territorial communities whose financial capacity index is less than 1.0 have the right to use the Program and receive up to 1.5 million hryvnias from the regional budget under co-financing conditions.
