The project will be implemented by the new owner of the attraction – the investment company EFI Group.
Today, August 18, a solemn signing of the Memorandum on cooperation in the implementation of the restoration project of the Zhevuskyi and Liantskoronskyi palaces took place in the village of Rozil, Stryi district.
In June of this year, the State Property Fund sold the palace at a privatization auction for 20 million hryvnias. The winner of the bidding and the new owner became the investment company EFI Group, which acts on behalf and in the interests of “MZ Odeska” LLC. The company also signed an agreement on the protection of cultural heritage and the preservation of its historical appearance.
“It is important to remember and preserve our history, therefore it is very sad to look at the state in which this once magnificent palace is now. But at the same time, it is nice to know that there are people who have the strength and resources to restore it. We are ready to provide all necessary support.
We are constantly looking for funds to restore monuments, especially those that are at risk of destruction. Now, for example, we are restoring the wooden church of St. Michael in the village of Isai, this month we also started restoring the Cathedral of the Holy Mother of God in Zabolotsi. We are carrying out repair and restoration works on the building of the Prague Bank in Brody. In general, about 20 million hryvnias have been earmarked for restoration measures in the regional budget this year,” said the head of the Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.
The chairman of the EFI Group supervisory board, Ihor Lisky, told how the company sees the future of the separation palace.
“Our main motivation is to preserve the building first, so we will prepare the necessary project, which will investigate the foundation of the building and the distribution communications it has. Based on these data, we will decide how best to reconstruct this building, we will involve experts and specialized specialists in this area. It is very important not only to preserve this building, but also to breathe life into it. This facility can easily become a new place of work for the local population and an additional source of income for the community budget. We will attract as many interested people as possible to discuss the future fate of this palace,” Ihor Liski said.
The company EFI Group added that the support and preservation of unique monuments should be a priority task of socially responsible business.
The investor also enlisted the support of architects, researchers, experts and consultants who specialize in the reconstruction and preservation of architectural monuments, whose expertise will help ensure the correct restoration of the monument. In addition, the public is invited to the dialogue.

An architectural landmark, the palace of the Zhevusky-Liantskoronsky family was built in 1740 in the French Renaissance style by Michal Zhevusky, the heir of Rozdol. This is an elegant monument of history, created under the leadership of Michal Zhevusky, Rozdol’s heir. The park surrounding the palace is part of the nature reserve fund of Ukraine, confirming its ecological significance. The importance of preserving this cultural diamond requires careful care. Back in the 19th century, the palace became the ancestral heritage of the Liantskoronsky family, which expanded it within the limits of the then possibilities. Ancient sculptures and art objects that enriched the interior were selected by Karol Liantskoronskyi. After the Second World War, most of the valuables were taken out of the country. However, thanks to the efforts of Borys Voznytskyi, director of the Lviv Art Gallery, it was possible to save two ancient sculptures. During the Soviet Union, the palace was turned into a branch of one of Morshin’s sanatoriums. After the declaration of Independence of Ukraine, the “Ukrprofozdoronytsia” community became its owner. In 2017, the Supreme Court decided to return the palace to the state. In 2022, it came under the management of the State Property Fund, which put it up for auction.
