Pension fund: how IDPs in Lviv Oblast can receive a pension at another place of residence

In Lviv Oblast, among all internally displaced persons, there are people who receive pension payments. The Pension Fund of Ukraine has answered the most common questions regarding the registration of pensions at another place of residence.

Can IDPs who have moved to another region or locality apply for a pension, make a recalculation regardless of their place of residence (registration)?

The Pension Fund of Ukraine serves persons regardless of the registration (place of residence, stay) of persons in the service territory of the relevant PFU body.

You can submit an application to any service center of the Pension Fund regarding:

  • Appointment, recalculation, renewal of pension;
  • Transfer from one type of pension to another;
  • Termination of the transfer of pensions to the pensioner’s current bank account;
  • Receiving pensions at the place of actual residence;
  • Continuation of payment of pensions by proxy;
  • Payments of part of the pension for disabled family members of a person who is fully dependent on the state;
  • Payment of pensions for 6 months in advance in connection with departure to a permanent place of residence abroad;
  • Employment (dismissal), start (termination) of income-generating activities;
  • Payments of unreceived pension in connection with the death of a pensioner;
  • Receiving funeral assistance.
  • How to receive a pension payment to a person who received it through Ukrposhta institutions and who temporarily changed his place of residence?

In the event of a temporary change of actual place of residence, pension recipients can apply to the PFU authorities in person, through the electronic office of the PFU web portal or to the contact center of Ukrposhta (tel. 0-800-300-545) and receive their due payments by transfer without opening a bank account ( in “Oschadbank” through “quick penny” or a branch of Ukrposhta through postal transfer).

The IDP must report the need to receive pensions at another address and provide the following information:

  • Surname, first name, patronymic of the pension recipient;
  • The address for receiving pensions until March 2022;
  • Passport data (passport series and number);
  • Phone number;
  • Method of receiving payment (at the branch or at home address);
  • New delivery address: Ukrposhta branch index or address of temporary residence.
  • How can an IDP confirm that he is not working if his employment book is lost due to hostilities?

If a person is registered as an IDP, but there are no documents confirming the fact of his dismissal from work, then the status of unemployed is established on the basis of a personal statement indicating the date from which the person does not work. It is also necessary to provide an explanation of the circumstances, due to which it is impossible to make an entry in the labor book.
