Entrepreneur from Lviv region opened a flower shop thanks to the “eRobota” grant

Former biology teacher Anastasiia Zhelezniak from the Lviv region has fulfilled a long-held dream of owning her own business: with the support of the state “eRobota” programme and the Lviv Regional Military Administration, she has opened a flower shop and is already planning further development.

The first step towards entrepreneurship was taking part in the “eRobota” programme. Anastasiia completed floristry training, prepared and defended a business plan, and received a state grant of 250 thousand hryvnias. She used these funds to purchase a refrigerated display case, shelving, vases, initial stock for sales, and also officially employed one member of staff.

In addition, the entrepreneur made use of a support programme from the Lviv Regional Military Administration, which provides compensation of 30% of the state grant amount for families of servicemen and specified categories of citizens. Under this programme, she received a further 75 thousand hryvnias.

“After using the state grant, I was offered the opportunity to also benefit from compensation from the Lviv Regional State Administration. I submitted the documents, received 75 thousand hryvnias and used these funds to purchase stock for the shop,” notes the business owner.

Thanks to the combination of the state grant and regional compensation, Anastasiia was able to fully launch her flower business and provide a workplace, as well as lay the foundations for further expansion of the business in the Lviv region.
