Over 400 Families in Lviv Region Acquired Housing Through the “eOselya” Program in 2024

The “eOselya” program for preferential mortgage lending is helping Ukrainians access affordable housing. This government initiative has already supported over 400 families in the Lviv region, enabling them to purchase apartments or houses.

Success Stories

One of the program’s beneficiaries is police officer Andriy Symchuk, who had long dreamed of owning an apartment in Lviv.
“After learning about the program, I immediately applied. Three months later, after rotation from the combat zone, I began searching for an apartment and contacting the bank,” Andriy shared.

Thanks to eOselya, he purchased a 42 m² apartment in a new building.

Program Terms

Under the “eOselya” program, participants can purchase an apartment or private house.

  • Military personnel, police officers, rescuers, veterans, and families of fallen defenders: preferential rate of 3% annually.
  • Other categories of citizens: mortgage available at 7% annually.

Program Statistics

Since the beginning of the year in the Lviv region:

  • 400 borrowers received loans totaling 11.8 million UAH.
  • Categories of participants:
    • 124 military personnel under contract,
    • 120 police officers,
    • 57 rescuers,
    • 41 veterans.

Program Impact

“eOselya is an essential step by the state to support housing loans. This initiative provides many Ukrainians with the opportunity to secure their own housing,” noted Halyna Shyrochuk, acting deputy director of the Economic Policy Department of the Lviv Regional Administration.
