In Lviv, mobile administrative service centres continue to operate for residents whose homes were damaged as a result of the Russian missile attack on 30 July. According to the Department of Humanitarian Policy of the Lviv City Council, specialists have already provided consultations to more than 1,034 affected residents.
Temporary Administrative Service Centres have been set up in two locations: on Patona Street, visitors are received in the premises of Lyceum No. 15, and on Vyhovskoho Street, 79 — in the premises of the library next to the damaged buildings. The organisation of the work of these points was reported by the Director of the Department of Humanitarian Policy of the Lviv City Council, Valentyna Bartoshyk.
The city has also introduced payments to cover rent during the period of reconstruction of destroyed and damaged buildings. The amount of monthly compensation depends on the number of rooms in the dwelling and is UAH 12,000, UAH 15,000 or UAH 17,000.
In addition to consultations, 12 residents have already been helped to restore documents for their real estate. Another 10 entrepreneurs have received referrals to a commission to inspect their damaged property.
It should be recalled that during the missile attack on 30 July in Lviv, the worst affected were two residential buildings on Patona and Vyhovskoho streets. In total, more than 20 residential buildings were damaged, as well as a school, a nursery and a library. One person was killed in the strike. Mayor Andriy Sadovyi had earlier stated that the city plans to fully rebuild housing for those residents who lost their homes, and that until reconstruction is completed it will compensate them for their rent.
