Compared to other regions, our region is in the top three in terms of the number of grant recipients.
Based on the results of consideration of the applications sent in the sixth wave, i.e. from April 10 to 23 this year, the State Employment Center made positive decisions on providing micro-grants in the amount of 50 to 250 thousand hryvnias to 323 participants of the “eRobota” program for starting or developing a business.
Among them are 60 applicants from the Lviv region. They should create 135 new jobs. In terms of the number of grant recipients, Lviv Oblast is in the top three among other regions.
46 individual entrepreneurs, 9 legal entities and 5 start-up entrepreneurs who will be registered as business entities have chosen the right to receive state funds for opening or developing their own business. Almost half of those who will receive financing for business development were residents of Lviv district – 28 people, 9 – Drohobytskyi, 7 – Zolochivskyi, 6 – Yavorivskyi and Sambirskyi, 2 – Stryiskyi and the same number of Chervonogradskyi districts.
As a result of the implementation of business plans in the region, the number of new jobs in the trade, beauty industry (hairdressing services) and restaurant business will increase.
In addition, the production of clothing, wooden building structures and carpentry, furniture, animal feed, prepared food and meals, cocoa, chocolate and confectionery will increase.
Some of the grant recipients will continue their dental practice, service and repair cars, raise dairy cattle, grow grain crops, care for children, deliver ready-made meals, organize recreation and entertainment, etc.
We will remind that from July of last year until now, 672 participants of the “eRobota” program received positive decisions on financial support for opening or developing a business, whose documents were reviewed by the commission of the Labor and Employment Agency. Of them, 239 people submitted applications this year. Therefore, thanks to the government project, more than 1,500 new jobs will be created in the region.

Acceptance of documents for participation in the YeRobota program from active entrepreneurs, as well as those who do not yet have experience in running a business, continues. To receive financial support in the amount of UAH 50,000 to 250,000, you need to develop a business plan and submit an application through the “Action” portal.
