At the Ukrainian-Polish border, border guards discovered goods being transported with violations.
At the \”Shehyni\” and \”Krakivets\” crossing points, border guards of the 7th Carpathian Border Guard unit recorded attempts to illegally transport goods. In \”Shehyni\”, during an inspection of a Mercedes minibus traveling from Germany to Ternopil, 492 units of new Swedish brand clothing were found, which the driver tried to transport without declaration. The man explained that the items were supposedly a delivery.
In another minibus of the same brand, traveling from Italy to Ivano-Frankivsk, border guards discovered 400 remote controls for gate and barrier automation, also not listed in the declaration. At the \”Krakivets\” crossing point, six coins from the XIX-XX centuries were found. They were discovered among a passenger’s personal belongings, wrapped in foil.
Appropriate protocols were drawn up for all violations. The measures were conducted in cooperation with customs officers.
