The morning show “Vse y odrazu” on Lvivska Khvylia radio has raised 340,000 hryvnias to purchase a defibrillator-monitor for the Cardio Centre of the Lviv Regional Hospital for War Veterans and Repressed Persons named after Yurii Lypa.
The charity fundraiser was dedicated to the programme’s 20th anniversary. The bulk of the amount, 270,000 hryvnias, was raised during a charity auction.
Among the auction lots were, in particular, an annual heart check-up, as well as the opportunity to become host of the “Vse y odrazu” morning show for one day.
The new defibrillator-monitor is intended to help the cardiac centre’s medical staff resuscitate patients and monitor their condition in real time.
The Lvivska Khvylia radio team is calling on people to continue contributing to the fundraiser so the cardiac centre can be fully equipped with the necessary medical devices.
