The year 2025 became significant for the development of tourism in the Lviv region.
This year, more than 63 million hryvnias in tourist tax were collected, which is 16 million more than the previous year. Additionally, 50 unique trips were organized for one and a half thousand defenders and their families as part of the “Therapy by Traveling” project.
The Tourism and Hospitality Forum was revived in partnership with the company “Gal-EXPO”. A guidebook titled “Lviv Region: 25 Tourist Magnets” was released, becoming a unique tool for promotion and travel planning.
Among other achievements are the installation of a tactile mini-sculpture of the St. George Church in Drohobych, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the hosting of the international plein air “Sheptytsky StreetArt” that brought together artists from various countries.
The initiative “Lviv+” promotes lesser-known locations outside the regional center. “Tourism — hospitality! This is our credo, which we will adhere to in 2026 as well. Let’s explore Lviv region together!” — say the organizers.
