The Lviv Regional Employment Center told how much firms and companies are willing to pay to those who do not have work experience and specialized education.
As of June 26, there were 6,609 vacant jobs and vacant positions in the database of the regional employment center, of which almost 480 are for unskilled workers, i.e. janitors, support workers, loaders, packers, office cleaners.
“Employers offer wages of up to 25,000 hryvnias to auxiliary workers, for whom there are more than 120 vacancies. There is a shortage of more than 100 porters in the region, whose earnings reach UAH 22,000. The highest salary of office cleaners (38 vacancies) is UAH 12,000, and territory cleaners (16 vacancies) is UAH 8,000. A similar reward awaits janitors, for whom there are 127 employment options. Almost 40 vacancies for packers remain unfilled, wages – 6,700-14,000 hryvnias. This group is closed by dishwashers, whose maximum earnings are UAH 9,000. However, the choice of work is small – there are more than 20 vacancies,” the employment center noted.
In total, 46% of vacancies in the region have a salary of 6,700 – 10,000 UAH, 47% – 10,000 – 20,000 UAH, and 7% – 20,000 – 80,000 UAH. The average salary specified by employers in vacancies is UAH 11,278.
