What is the difference between gas bills?
Many consumers receive several gas bills, and it is important to understand what each one is responsible for:
Payment for gas consumption
Payment is made to the gas supply company, according to the company’s tariff and the amount of gas consumed.
Payment for gas distribution
This payment is received from the operator of gas distribution networks, in Lviv region – Lviv branch of Gas Networks. The funds received from consumers are used for operating expenses related to the ability to ensure uninterrupted gas supply.
In-house network maintenance fee
This is a separate fee for the maintenance of the internal gas networks in your home. If your house is less than 25 years old, maintenance is carried out every 5 years, if it is older – every three years.
By paying each of these payments on time, you help the industry as a whole to operate smoothly, maintaining the supply and safety of gas in your home. Please note that the payment period for gas distribution lasts until the 20th of each month.
