In Drohobych, a draft Municipal Energy Plan has been prepared for 2030.
The document covers objects and systems within the community, outlining mid-term and long-term energy policy goals. It is created according to Ukraine’s energy efficiency law and is based on the methodology for developing local energy plans approved by the Ministry of Community Development. Under the project ‘Development of Municipal Energy Plan in Communities,’ Drohobych community received expert support for free.
*’Thanks to participation in the project, the document’s development was free for the community,’* notes the city council. The project has already received approval from the Lviv Regional State Administration and has undergone public discussion on the Edem platform. It is expected to be approved by the city council by the end of the year. The goal of creating this plan is to promote sustainable energy development.
