A land auction was held in Lviv, during which the city sold a plot for multi-apartment residential development for more than UAH 51 million. In the course of bidding, the lot price almost doubled compared with the starting price.
According to the Land Resources Department of the Lviv City Council, this is the first sale in the past four years of a land plot in the city specifically for the construction of multi-apartment housing.
The sold plot is located on Velychkovskoho Street, near building No. 7 in the Riasne-2 neighbourhood, and has an area of 0.3695 ha. The designated use of the land is the construction and maintenance of multi-apartment residential development. Under the terms of use of the territory, in addition to housing, there may also be integrated premises for public use and an underground car park. On the adjacent plot, according to the detailed plan of the territory, the construction of a kindergarten is planned.
Two bidders took part in the auction. The winner was the Joint Stock Company “Closed Non-Diversified Venture Corporate Investment Fund “Viking Gardens”, which offered UAH 51,110,010 for the lot. The starting price of the plot was UAH 26,976,000.
The funds received from the sale of the land will replenish the budget of the Lviv urban community.
