In Lviv, at 307-A Tarasa Shevchenka Street, plans are in place to complete the construction of a multi-apartment residential complex with a nursery. To this end, the city will amend the urban planning conditions and restrictions, which will allow the completion of a development that has remained unfinished for a long time.
The adjustment of the urban planning documentation was announced at a meeting of the executive committee by Lviv’s chief architect, Anton Kolomeitsev. According to him, it concerns increasing the maximum permitted percentage of development on the site from 30 to 31% for this complex.
The project provides for the construction of residential buildings with integrated public-use premises, an underground car park, rooftop boiler houses, a transformer substation and a separate nursery within the complex.
The City Council also reminds residents that construction of a new overpass is under way at the junction of Shevchenka and Kovcha Streets. It will have three traffic lanes, a combined cycling and pedestrian zone and traffic light control, which should ease traffic flow on Shevchenka Street and create the conditions for the reconstruction of the unsafe bridge.
