Public budget projects will be implemented in Lviv after the end of the war. The acceptance of new applications has also been postponed. Mayor Andriy Sadovy said this during a live broadcast on his Facebook page
“All works on public projects are suspended. This year, the Public Budget will not determine the winners. The war will end – and we will continue all the works that we had planned. Such are the realities of our time,” said city mayor Andriy Sadovy.
We will remind, this year in Lviv community it was planned to implement 101 winning projects of the Public Budget for the total amount of 77 million 758 thousand UAH. Last year, a record number of people took part in voting – more than 145 thousand, which is 40% more than in 2020.
In total, during 2016-2020, 1,171 projects were submitted to the Public Budget of Lviv, of which 294 became winners. The total amount of their realization is UAH 188 million.
