The Veterans’ Market continues to operate in Lviv: every Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00 on Rynok Square veterans and members of their families sell their own products and present their businesses. The event is intended to support veteran entrepreneurship and help producers find new customers.
Up to 20 stalls operate at the market at the same time, and the list of participants is constantly changing. Buyers are offered artisanal cheeses, sausages, bread, sweets, microgreens, as well as books, candles, ceramics, jewellery, icons, toys, accessories and other original handmade items.
For Lviv residents and visitors to the city, the market is an opportunity to purchase high-quality local products and at the same time support veteran-run businesses and the families of defenders. Participation is free of charge for veterans and their families.
The market is organised by the Department of Economic Development of the Lviv City Council together with the City Promotion Office. Veterans who wish to take part in trading are encouraged to register online and choose a convenient date to participate.
According to the Lviv City Council, last year around 80 participants registered for the Veterans’ Market, taking turns to trade on Rynok Square.
