IRON Lviv Tech Cluster launches IRON Acceleration (training for technology producers) in cooperation with the UCU CfE Accelerator and the City Institute.
IRON Lviv Tech Cluster unites more than 60 companies from Lviv and the region working in the fields of robotics, electronics and radio communications. As part of its free training programme, the cluster offers intensive training, mentoring, and participation in Pitch Day.
“Our acceleration programme is an opportunity for startups to turn their innovative ideas into projects and prototypes into successful products. 3 days of intensive training and a month-long mentoring programme will give teams a boost at the beginning of their journey to understand where to go next. We are looking for those who already have a prototype, possibly the first orders, and are ready to get involved in the development of their project,” said Volodymyr Cherniuk, CEO of IRON Lviv Tech Cluster.
“IRON Acceleration will run from 3 July to 3 August 2024. During this time, Ukrainian innovation developers will be able to take part in a training block and work on the topics of customer identification and research, forming a holistic offer, researching the competitive environment and analysing the main players in the market. In addition, participants will get acquainted with the sales process and strategies, learn about the financial model and investment attraction.
Participants will also receive mentoring from leading industry experts and present their development at Pitch Day to investors and experts.
The accelerator will be held in a mixed format: the teams will attend 4 offline sessions and an online programme.

“The acceleration programme will definitely strengthen the capacity of startup teams and give them the tools to scale production and expand sales. Supporting innovative entrepreneurship and developing startup culture is a priority for the development of the Lviv community. Thanks to the synergy between the cluster and the local authorities, the hardware community will have an opportunity for growth,” said Yuriy Lomikovsky, project manager of the City Institute.
