In Lviv, auctions have been reannounced for the right to place mobile trading points in six city parks. The bidding is being conducted via the “Prozorro. Sales” system, and the sites can be rented until 31 December 2027.
Two auctions are scheduled for 5 August. In the Horikhovyi Hai Park (location near the cinema centre) the starting price of the lot is 11 862 UAH, with a rental area of 350 sq m, and applications are being accepted until 4 August. In the Levandivskyi Park (from the side of Povitriana Street, Ye. Olesnytskoho Street and Kuzniarivky Street) the bidding will also take place on 5 August, with a starting price of 16 946 UAH.
In the Zamarsynivskyi Park (near the amphitheatre) applications to take part are being accepted until 2 August, and the auction is scheduled for 3 August. The starting price of the lot is 2 711 UAH, with a rental area of 4 sq m. In the “700th Anniversary of Lviv Park” (from the side of V. Chornovola Avenue, near the children’s playground) the starting price is the same — 2 711 UAH, applications can be submitted until 3 August, and the bidding will take place the following day.
In the Sknylivskyi Park the trading spot has been designated on the central alley from the side of I. Vyhovskoho Street, with an area of 8 sq m. The auction here is scheduled for 3 August, with a starting price of 5 422 UAH. In the I. Vyhovskyi Park (central alley, near the children’s playgrounds) the bidding will take place on 4 August, applications can be submitted until 3 August, and the initial price of the lot is 3 389 UAH.
In total, the city has designated 12 parks where mobile trading will be permitted. Entrepreneurs will be able to sell coffee, ice cream, water, candyfloss and other sweets. At the same time, the sale of alcoholic and low-alcohol drinks, as well as tobacco products, is prohibited.
To take part in the bidding, entrepreneurs need to register on one of the “Prozorro. Sales” electronic platforms and submit the required set of documents. Tenants must agree the appearance of the mobile trading units with the city’s Department of Architecture and Spatial Development. The rental cost will depend on the area, location and type of structure.
The city was forced to reannounce the auctions because most of the previous winners did not sign the documents needed to conclude the lease agreements. A protocol with the winner was signed for only one location — in the park of Saint John Paul II, Pope of Rome.
