Its productivity is 50 thousand tons/year.
The day before, the Department of Fuel and Energy Complex, Energy Efficiency, and Housing and Communal Services of Lviv Oblast transferred the waste sorting line to the municipal property of the Novoyavoriv City Council.
The MSL 1-50 waste sorting line worth almost UAH 5.5 million was purchased from the reserve fund of the State Budget of Ukraine from Hummel-Ukraine LLC. The productivity of the sorting line is 50,000 tons/year.
Lines of this type are used at landfills or separately built plants for crushing and sorting various waste: household waste, mixed waste, construction waste, organic and inorganic waste, waste paper and polymers, with the aim of their further secondary use and disposal.
As a reminder, in the Lviv region there are 5 lines for sorting waste, which are installed at solid waste landfills in the cities of Sambir, Busk, Chervonograd, Zolochiv and Stryi. In general, during 2022, two waste sorting lines were handed over to the Stryi and Novoyavoriv territorial communities.
